Saving your data
We realize that each device contains priceless data of an individal, be it private or business. For that reason we recommend being responsible and taking regular security backups of your devices on external media such as an external drive, network storage or the cloud.
Hard drives
Still the most widespread type of storage, as it's capacity to price ratio is still unbeaten. This type is however prone to mechanical wear and failure because of the many moving parts.
SSD drives
Newer type of drives that have established themselves for their speed and small size with no moving parts. They are frequent in most modern computers and are more reliable but when they fail, data rescue can prove diffucult.
Mobile devices
As the storage capacity on modern devices grows bigger, users store more data on them, not realising that their devices are prone to drops and subsequent hardware failures. The small size and non-removable storage makes repair difficult.
USB sticks/ SD cards
USB sticks and cards contain important information but are often made from cheap materials that are not up to everyday wear and tear. As the method of construction is similar to SSD drives the data rescue process can prove difficult.
